Lexington County Fire and Lexington Police respond to structure fire, Saturday

Lexington County Fire Service units and and Lexington Police units responded in the 200 block of Heddon Drive in the Barr Lake Subdivision, Saturday. A structural fire had the area blocked off. Lexington Police officers assisted Lexington County Fire Services with evacuation and containment of the fire.

Lexington Police respond to 3-car crash that resulted in injuries

Lexington Police responded to a collision on Sunset Blvd (US-378) at I-20 Saturday afternoon. The crash resulted in an inbound and an outbound lane being closed while the site was cleared by emergency crews.All lanes were reopened by 5 p.m. The three car wreck with injuries was caused by a driver disregarding the traffic light.
