A hit and run collision in the 5600 block of Sunset Blvd (US-378) had inbound and outbound lanes closed, Wednesday afternoon in Lexington. All lanes were reopened around 6 p.m..

According to the Lexington Police Department, the wreck was caused by a driver who failed to yield the right of way and he was issued a citation. The other involved driver fled from the scene and was soon found by officers. The driver was found to be impaired and arrested for DUI. LPD photo
