The outbound lanes of Sunset Boulevard, in front of Herndon Chevrolet, were completely blocked because of a collision, Friday at North Lake Drive and Sunset Boulevard. Outbound traffic was being diverted onto North Lake Drive toward the dam.

Traffic coming into Lexington from the dam could not turn left at Sunset Boulevard as emergency personnel worked the scene. Traffic was detoured.

All lanes of Sunset Boulevard were eventually reopened.
