Crews from the Irmo Fire District extinguished a boat fire at the launch ramp on the Irmo side of Lake Murray Dam, Sunday afternoon. The situation was brought under control and nobody was injured. The boat ramp was opened again before firefighting crews departed from the scene.

Units from the Irmo Fire District and and Lexington County EMS were on scene of a vehicle accident, Tuesday night. According to a IFD report, there were injuries. The crash occurred on St Andrews Road at Carriage Lane. As a result of the accident, one direction of St Andrews was closed.
