Harbison Boulevard was closed Thursday afternoon at the I-26 overpass after a vehicle crash.

Irmo Fire units assisted Columbia Fire units with what was called “a major traffic collision” on Harbison Boulevard at the I-26 overpass.

A high speed collision involving three cars sent five people to the hospital. The roadway is expected to remain closed for an extended period. Please avoid the area.
