Irmo fire crews were on scene of a vehicle accident in the 3900 block of Fernandina Road, Monday afternoon. The road was closed for a while and reopened at 5:30 pm.

Several lanes of the intersection were blocked, and driver were asked to please use alternate routes. The accident was reported at 12:30 p.m. The road was open by 1:15 p.m.
