South Lake Drive
Lexington Police are asking drivers to please use caution on a rainy Saturday morning. Police responded to a collision on South Lake Drive at Interstate -20 before 9 a.m. One inbound and one outbound lane were closed due to a motor vehicle collision. Emergency personnel assisted motorists.
Emergency crews were on the scene overnight Friday at South Lake Drive and Robert Street in Lexington. The road was closed temporarily, according to the Lexington Police Department, and detour routes were created to travel around the crashed vehicle until the site was cleared.
