A collision on South Lake Drive (SC-6) at I-20 had outbound traffic diverted into a single lane, around 10 a.m. Wednesday. The on-ramp for westbound I-20 was also closed while the site was being cleared.

Lexington Police asked drivers to avoid the area until the road was fully reopened. The wreck was caused by a driver who failed to yield the right of way when turning across lanes to get on the interstate on-ramp, according to the LPD. (LPD photo)
