Foggy February Thursday morning in Lexington County

A dense fog had descended over Lexington County at daybreak, Thursday. On Sunset Boulevard, at Riverbank Elementary School and Northside Middle School, and I-26 visibility was reduced as a result of the fog. By 8 a.m. the fog was beginning to burn off.

Escaped fugitive, who caused school lockdowns in West Columbia, is caught

Daniel Hill who escaped from an ambulance while in custody, was captured before 10 p.m. Wednesday at a home on Lawrence Road in Red Bank.
