Cayce Riverwalk, from the Blossom Street Bridge to the Thomas Newman Boat Landing are closed until Tuesday

Due to the heavy rain over the weekend, the Congaree Riverwalk is presently 14.35ft. when the river should start to recede. This is from the Blossom Street Bridge to the Thomas Newman Boat Landing. Timmerman Trail and the walking path at Guignard Park are open.

Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Cayce Riverwalk are closed due to flooding

Due to rising water levels and flooding from the heavy rain over the weekend, Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Cayce Riverwalk are closed. Phase 1 and Phase 2 run from the Blossom Street Bridge to the H. Kelley Jones Park.

All portions of the West Columbia Riverwalk and Amphitheater will be open beginning at sunrise on Tuesday, January 31, after being temporarily closed due to flooding. The Cayce Riverwalk has reopened. City staff have cleaned up the trail after being temporarily closed due to flooding.
