Eric Fowler received a resolution from West Columbia City Council Tuesday. Fowler served on council for 24 years. He chose not to run in the Nov. 3, election this year.

The West Columbia Police Department is reporting that Jarvis Klapman Boulevard eastbound into Columbia is still shut down due to work on the Columbia canal.
