A small plane carrying two passengers crashed into Lake Murray after having engine trouble around 1:45 p.m., according to the LExington Sheriff’s Department. The body of 36-year-old David Neil Grantham has been recovered from Lake Murray, according to Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher. Grantham went missing on Lake Murray on Oct. 26, His body was recovered Saturday. Foul play is not suspected.
David Grantham’s boat was spotted near Spence’s Point on Lake Murray from the air and recovered, Tuesday, but he wasn’t on it.
