The man who died in a jet ski accident on Lake Murray, Saturday, has been identified by Newberry County Coroner Laura Kneece. Christopher Day, 35, of Gaston died. He was being pulled on a tube behind a jet ski near Dreher Island State Park, when he hit another watercraft.

The accident occurred near the town of Prosperity in Newberry County, at approximately 2:30 p.m. An autopsy has been scheduled.
