Irmo Fire unit rescues trapped kitten

Crews from the evening shift responded to calls of an entrapped kitten, Monday night, in the Meredith Drive of Irmo. Upon arrival, crews found the kitten stuck in the steering column of a vehicle. The kitten was safely extricated and sustained no injuries. He has since been adopted, according to an Irmo Fire District report.
