The West Columbia City Council recognized Teacher Appreciation Week at its regular meeting, Tuesday. The recognition was to thank past and present teachers for their service. West Columbia Councilwoman Casey Hallman and Councilman Mickey Pringle (both professional educators) stood with Mayor Pro-Tem Jimmy Brooks to receive the proclamation, Tuesday.
