Lexington County Emergency Services were on scene Wednesday afternoon after a vehicle hit a structure. It occurred in the 1200 block of Main Street in South Congaree. Poles damaged by drunk driver in Lexington

The intersection of West Main Street and Gibson Road in Lexington was closed early Wednesday morning. Several poles and traffic lights were damaged due to a collision involving an intoxicated driver overnight. Lexington Police were asking motorists to please heed detours around the area, and use alternative routes if possible.
