Schools are closed, but that did not stop the learning.

Melanie Thornton of Riverbank Elementary School drove the school’s Rolling Reading Room through neighborhoods, last week. Thornton read books from the back of her golf cart.

The trip also gave her the chance to  catch up with students she saw, from a safe social distance, of course.
