Beginning this week, the West Columbia Fire Department is making good use of an empty building on Meeting Street. WCFD personnel are conducting fire suppression operations and search and rescue training evaluations in a multi-unit commercial structure.
Read More >>The Lexington Police Department reported that an overturned tractor-trailer closed westbound lanes on I-20 near mile marker 58, for a while. The S.C. Highway Patrol reported the crash happened around 4:30 Wednesday morning. There were injuries. Traffic was detoured off of I-20 traffic onto Sunset Blvd/U.S.-378. The I-20 lanes have since been reopened.
