Disregarding signal, results in a collision in Lexington

The Lexington Police Department worked a crash at the intersection of Sunset Blvd and Palmetto Park Blvd, Saturday afternoon. Fallen tree causes road to close in Lexington

All lanes of Old Chapin Road near Waverly Point Drive are closed after a tree fell across the road, according to the Lexington Police Department. Emergency crews were on the scene. It was reported about 6:15 p.m., Thursday. Vehicles were being detoured into Reed Avenue (inbound) and Heights Avenue (outbound) to turn around.
