Hunter Helms, former Gray quarterback, featured in Clemson program, goes 5 for 5 in win over Charleston Southern

Hunter Helms, former Gray Collegiate (West Columbia) quarterback, went 5 for 5 Saturday in the Tigers 66-17, win over Charleston Southern. Helms is the top back-up QB behind starter Cade Klubnik.

Helms was featured in the Clemson-Charleston Southern gameday program, Saturday. In an article entitled “Where He Belongs,” it says Helms is a “Palmetto State native” who “walked on (then earned a scholarship) and has used his time at Clemson to grow as a player and person.”
