Rhythm on the River Concert gets beautiful weather year after flood

Whiskey Tango Revue and the Kenny George Band played the Rhythm on the River Concert, Sunday. The weather was great and the crowd had lots to eat and drink. It was a year after the October flood of 2015. Stolen Hearts with Chris Crompton plays next Sunday. beginning at 2 p.m. at the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheater.

Brookland-Cayce defeats Pelion

Brookland-Cayce defeated Pelion 49-6. The Bearcats held a 42-0 lead at halftime. Neither team scored in the third quarter. Pelion got on the scoreboard with about eight minutes left in the game. BC then returned an attempted onside kick for a TD. Brookland-Cayce goes to 5-1 and will face 6-0 Gilbert next Friday at Brookland-Cayce. […]
