Brookland-Cayce defeated Pelion 49-6. The Bearcats held a 42-0 lead at halftime. Neither team scored in the third quarter. Pelion got on the scoreboard with about eight minutes left in the game. BC then returned an attempted onside kick for a TD.
Brookland-Cayce goes to 5-1 and will face 6-0 Gilbert next Friday at Brookland-Cayce. The Indians beat Swansea, Friday.
