A traffic signal and other improvements are coming to the intersection of Henbet Drive and Sunset Boulevard (US 378) west of Lexington Medical Center, according to a Facebook post by West Columbia Mayor Tem miles. Construction will start soon. The first on site meeting for utility clearance was Thursday morning, Miles reported.

A development called Langley Pointe is being built close to the intersection. The first part of that project includes a luxury apartment complex. Construction has started on those apartments.
