Lexington Police units responded to a two-vehicle collision on Sunset Boulevard and Northside Boulevard, Friday afternoon . Outbound lanes were temporarily blocked. Emergency personnel were on scene and assisting with traffic control. Around 4:15 p.m. the LPD reported all lanes were open. The cause of the collision was Failure to Yield Right of Way.
First responders arrived on the scene of a three-car accident about 12:15 p.m., Thursday. The crash occurred on Sunset Blvd. (US-378) at Mineral Springs Road. Lexington asked that drivers avoid the area if possible. Around 2:30 p.m., Lexington Police reported all lanes of Sunset Blvd have reopened after the collision was cleared from the road. […]
