The driver of the vehicle that crashed was arrested for DUI and transported from the scene by EMS. Dominion Energy is scheduled to replace the damaged power pole involved in the wreck Thursday.

All lanes of Old Chapin Road near Waverly Point Drive are closed after a tree fell across the road, according to the Lexington Police Department. Emergency crews were on the scene. It was reported about 6:15 p.m., Thursday. Vehicles were being detoured into Reed Avenue (inbound) and Heights Avenue (outbound) to turn around.
