Read More >>Irmo Fire District crews were on scene of a structure fire in an apartment building on Beacon Hill Road in Irmo, Sunday evening. Units from Columbia Fire and Lexington County Fire were also on hand. The fire was extinguished quickly and the building was saved. The cause is under investigation, and there were no injuries.
Read More >>All lanes of Old Chapin Road near Waverly Point Drive are closed after a tree fell across the road, according to the Lexington Police Department. Emergency crews were on the scene. It was reported about 6:15 p.m., Thursday. Vehicles were being detoured into Reed Avenue (inbound) and Heights Avenue (outbound) to turn around.
