Fallen tree causes road to close in Lexington

All lanes of Old Chapin Road near Waverly Point Drive are closed after a tree fell across the road, according to the Lexington Police Department. Emergency crews were on the scene. It was reported about 6:15 p.m., Thursday. Vehicles were being detoured into Reed Avenue (inbound) and Heights Avenue (outbound) to turn around.
