Minor injuries reported by Irmo Fire District after I-26 crash, Tuesday morning

Irmo Fire District was on the scene of a vehicle collision before 8 a.m., Tuesday, that was blocking lanes of I-26 westbound at the Piney Grove Road exit. The exit was blocked temporarily. Only minor injuries to the pickup driver were reported. The tractor-trailer was parked on the shoulder when the wreck occurred.

Irmo Fire units respond to crashes on I-26

Irmo Fire units were on the scene of two separate vehicle collisions on opposite sides of I-26 close to Mile Marker 105, over the weekend. Both accidents involved minor injuries. Crews worked with to-truck companies Friday afternoon to remove all of the cars involved from the road.

Irmo Fire responds after Tractor-Trailer runs off of I-26, Tuesday afternoon

Irmo Fire crews were on the scene of a tractor trailer accident on I-26 Westbound at Mile Marker 105, Tuesday. The truck ran off the Interstate and ended up on Fernandina Road, a mile before the off ramp.There was a delay and slow traffic until the truck could be removed.
