Irmo Fire District crews were on scene of a structure fire in an apartment building on Beacon Hill Road in Irmo, Sunday evening. Units from Columbia Fire and Lexington County Fire were also on hand. The fire was extinguished quickly and the building was saved. The cause is under investigation, and there were no injuries.
Irmo Fire District assisted Columbia Fire Department with a commercial vehicle fire on I-26 eastbound just past the 97 exit, before noon on Monday. All lanes eastbound were closed and for several hours. Alternate routes and avoiding the area was advised. IFD, SCDOT and Columbia Fire photos
Irmo Fire District units along with Lexington County Fire Service and the Columbia Fire departmen responded to a commercial structure fire on Lake Murray Boulevard Saturday morning. The crews quickly brought the fire under control and there were no reports of injuries.
