Brookland-Cayce’s Sara Corley signs a to play rugby with Newberry College

Senior Sara Corley signed a letter of intent to play rugby with Newberry College. She has been a member of the soccer team at Brookland-Cayce. Corley participated in a signing ceremony Monday at the school. Coaches, teammates, fellow students, and family members attended the event, which was held in the arena’s Hall of Fame room.

Brookland-Cayce defeats Hanahan to stay alive in high school baseball playoffs

Brookland-Cayce defeated Hanahan, 7-3, in the SC High School League baseball playoffs, Monday. The game was played at BC. The Bearcats will travel to Oceanside Wednesday to play for the Lower State Championship. BC must defeat Oceanside twice to win the Lower State crown.
