The school was placed on a hold, with students and teachers remaining in place in their rooms for instruction and activities. Families were notified. Gray Collegiate Academy took first place in the State Cheer Championships, Saturday. The competition was held at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia. Brookland-Cayce finished 5th in the state in the 3A classification. Airport High School finished 6th in the 4A competition.
