And if you’re thinking of selling your home, you’ll Be able to sell your home more easily once you’ve gotten rid of the clutter.
How to dispose of unique items.

Take pride in the West Side is the theme for West Columbia’s Fall Recycling Day, Litter Pick-Up, and Drug Take Back Day. It is Saturday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. behind the West Columbia City Hall building at 200 N. 12th St.
Electronics will be accepted at the Fall Clean-Up Day. Just bring your computer components and dump them in the bin. You can also bring your discarded TVs if you need to get rid of them.
There will also be a shredder on the clean-up day site. So bring your documents, credit cards, and other materials and have them cut up into small pieces to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access. The shredding process makes it impossible to reconstruct the original documents. And that enhances security and helps prevent identity theft and fraud.
