Pelion holds ceremony on Memorial Day

Memorial Day was commemorated Monday at a ceremony in Pelion. The heroes who bravely gave their lives for freedom were honored and remembered. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard participated in the Pelion Memorial Day ceremony, which featured the flag of United States Sheriff Jay Koon and his family were also in attendance.
