Disabled truck blocks traffic in Lexington

The Lexington Police Department is reporting that a disabled semi-truck with trailer had North Church Street near Main Street diverted to a single lane, around 8 a.m. Thursday. Police asked motorists to please drive alert, expect to merge, and know that traffic is congested in this area of the one-way-pair in downtown @TownLexingtonSC.

Gas pipe break causes detours in Lexington

The Lexington Police Department reported the closure of North Lake Drive (SC-6) Tuesday afternoon, due to a natural gas pipe break. The break caused detours in. Northbound traffic was detouring onto Butler Street and southbound traffic is detouring onto Columbia Avenue or Dreher Street. This closure could last until 6 p.m.
