One person died in a crash on I-26, in Richland County Wednesday night, according to Master Trooper Brian Lee of the SC Highway Patrol.

Lee said the driver of a 2002 Toyota pickup truck died in the crash, around 11 p.m.. It happened at the 108 mile marker, near the Bush River Road Exit.

Lees said the truck was traveling west on I-26 when it ran off the highway and flipped,

The driver was wearing a seat belt. The Richland County Coroner’s Office is expected to identify the victim.
