Traffic was closed in Lexington Wednesday afternoon so 2 trucks could be rerouted

The Lexington Police Department issued a “Traffic Alert” Wednesday afternoon because two “Wide-Load” semi-trucks and trailers needed to be rerouted back to the interstate. All traffic in downtown Lexington was stopped while the trucks came through town.Police thanked everyone for their patience and officers quickly worked to reopen downtown. (LPD photos)
