Irmo Fire District units respond to crash on St. Andrews Road

Emergency crews, including units from the Irmo Fire District, responded to a vehicle accident Tuesday around 9 a.m. The accident occured at St. Andrews Road and Ashland Road. The intersection was partially blocked because of the accident. Please use caution in the area and watch out for crews on the scene.

Gray Collegiate wins 4th 2A boys basketball state championship

The Gray Collegiate Academy boys’ basketball team won the 2A boys basketball state championship. The War Eagles of West Columbia defeated previously unbeaten York Prep 56-53. Junior Montraivis White scored 18 points. It is Gray’s fourth State Title in five years. After three-straight state championships 2018-20. Gray is coached by Dion Bethea.
