Poles damaged by drunk driver in Lexington

The intersection of West Main Street and Gibson Road in Lexington was closed early Wednesday morning. Several poles and traffic lights were damaged due to a collision involving an intoxicated driver overnight. Lexington Police were asking motorists to please heed detours around the area, and use alternative routes if possible.
