Rhythm on the River Sunday at West Columbia Riverwalk. Today, the Reggie Sullivan Band with Eric Bettencourt will play. The show begins at 2 p.m. and ends at 5 p.m. The shows are at the West Columbia Amphitheatre on the Riverwalk. It’s at the corner of Meeting Street and Alexander Road.

The Brookland-Cayce High School Varsity Competition Cheer Team took first place Saturday at the 3A Silver Fox Cheerleading Invitational. It was held at Dutch Fork High School. Airport High School conducted its Homecoming Parade Friday afternoon. The Eagles play Aiken in a 7:30 p.m. home football game. The Parade started in front of the school on Boston Avenue, and moved toward Platt Springs Road in Springdale, before turning and going back to the school.  Click on photos to enlarge.
