Rick Hubbard defeated Candice Lively in the Republican run-off election for the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, Tuesday. Hubbard had 9,870 votes to Lively’s 6,459. The winner takes the place of retiring Solicitor Donnie Myers. The 11th Circuit covers Lexington, Saluda, Edgefield, and McCormick counties.

Read More >>Lisa Comer defeated Emily Hinson in the Lexington County Clerk of Court race. Comer won by 127 votes according to the preliminary count. Comer received 6,698 votes to 6,571 votes for Hinson with 100% of the precincts reporting. The two women were in a run-off election held Tuesday.
