There no longer is a building housing the Zaxby’s restaurant at 821 Knox-Abbott Drive in Cayce. The building has been torn down. Where Zaxby’s once stood is a vacant lot.

There are two banner signs, facing Knox-Abbott Drive, on the property. One sign says: “Closed for Renovations – Be right Back” and the other sign says: “We’re Getting a Makeover.”

On Aug. 21, the City of Cayce posted on its Facebook page: “Demolition of the current Zaxby’s building will begin on Monday. The developer plans to rebuild and reopen the new and updated Zaxby’s in January of 2025!”
