Two days before Christmas, and crews were on the site where the new D’s Wings will be opening. The restaurant is planning to move from Parkland Plaza in Cayce to West Columbia.

The roof of the building was being enhanced, Wednesday and waterline work was being performed. Square-footage, via an extension, is also being added. Chris Hanna of Boyer Commercial Construction was on the site, Wednesday. The scheduled open date is still May. The new D’s Wings will be next to the Interactive Art Park and near the Meeting Street Artisan Market, behind Terra.
