Fisher reported that Kari Grace Brown, 29, of Taylors  died at the scene from multiple body trauma. The 2006 GMC truck in which she was a passenger left the road and hit a tree.  The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital.  It is unknown if the driver suffered any injuries.  Brown was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
