A Lexington County woman died in a three-vehicle crash. The crash occurred on U.S. 378 near Spring Hill Road, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Master Trooper William H. Bennett said the time of the collision was just after 7:20 a.m. Friday. Michele Guarino was injured in the crash and taken to the hospital, where she later died. The SCHP reported her death, Tuesday.

Guarino was in an SUV traveling west on U.S. 378 and attempting to turn left onto Spring Hill Road when the SUV was struck on the passenger side by an eastbound pickup truck. The pickup then hit another SUV. The crash remains under investigation.
