Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the pedestrian who was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Friday, at approximately 06:30 a.m.
The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Broad Street in Leesville.

According to Fisher, Gabrielle Alayna Winchester, 22, of Greenville was walking in the road when she was struck by a vehicle. Winchester was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the collision. The driver of the vehicle, who was not injured, stopped at the scene to render aid.
An investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol is ongoing.
