West Columbia’s Savage Craft Ale Works presenting a Huge New Year Celebration, or dine at Terra or Black Rooster

New Year’s Eve is Wednesday. And there are spots in West Columbia where you can celebrate.

Savage Craft Ale Works, at 430 Center Street, transforms into West Columbia’s New Year’s one-stop shop. There will be 5 parties to enjoy in one place.

The doors of Savage Craft’s Main Taproom swing open at 2 p.m. Wednesday, for the early birds.

“We will be open at 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. serving our normal menu,” said Victoria Porter, Savage Craft Manager. “Once 7 p.m. hits we will switch gears and turn the party machine on.”

One countdown to a 2026 Savage Craft party, for ages 21-plus, is themed A NIGHT AT STUDIO SAVAGE. It will be reminiscent of New York City’s famous Studio 54 . Dress Code: Sequins. Silk slips. Leather. Safety pins. Gold chains. Platform boots. High heels. Anything goes with disco dreams. Fearless and glamorous NYC nightlife style.

Also for ages  21-plus is the Rooftop ROOFTOP “Mirror Ball Galaxy”: DJ Stingray 803 (8 p.m.–1 a.m.) Warning : will reach capacity. If you want to dance under the stars, make sure you get here early.

CLUB SAVAGE 21+ (in The Armory): “Disco Inferno 2.6”: DJ Kevin Snow and Friends (9 p.m.–1 a.m.) Best Dance party in town featuring an infinity led dance floor. Must have ID to enter.

Savage Craft Celebrations for all ages

SECOND FLOOR: “Karaoke CBGB Confessional”: Linda Carr hosts the velvet and leather karaoke lounge 8 p.m.–1 am.

TAPROO.M: “Studio Savage”: First time to the party welcome DJ Marcus. Enjoy all your favorite Savage drafts, cocktails and bartenders while the music rolls all night under red and gold halos of light. #marcusbeingmarcus.

BEER GARDEN: “Punk-Pop Hideaway” enjoy the night under the heated 40×40 tent that will remain all winter long. Plenty of seating for those groups who want to have long conversations as the year burns out and countdown the new year with a video ball drop on the big screen of vintage Dick Clark.
Chris Reed and the Bad Kids(11 p.m.–1 a.m.) Only stopping at midnight to countdown to midnight and lead us all welcoming 2026.

Savage Craft will close at 1 a.m. on the dot. Take home pizza will be ready and hot for that trip home. There will be ID checks at both entrances. – with no cover and free parking.

New Year’s Eve Dining

Black Rooster
Black Rooster, in the Brookland Development off of Meeting Street, at Alexander Road, is open for reservations New Year’s Eve.

“Our kitchen will be open until 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and our rooftop will be open until the ball drops at midnight,” said Elliott Stegall, a Black Rooster Manager. “We’ll have a complimentary toast on the rooftop to ring in the new year.”

D’s Wings

D’s Wings at 415 Meeting Street, West Columbia, is renown for its wings, but D’s also has burgers, sandwiches, salads and more. You can also watch the college bowl games on one of the many TVs in D’s.

Terra
For a fine dining experience on New Year’s Eve, Terra, at 100 State St., is taking reservations and reservations are recommended. Terra is always busy on New Year’s Eve.

For New Year’s Day!

Lizard’s Thicket, at 2234 Sunset Blvd. is also a hot spot on New Year’s day for pork chops, black eyed peas and greens from WP Rawl Farms in Lexington County.  Lizard’s Thicket will serve thousands of servings of collard greens, black-eyed peas and pork chops. These dishes are all staples of a traditional Southern New Year’s Day meal said to bring luck and wealth for the coming year.
