Based in West Columbia, she is one of the top real estate agents in the state. Sprouse Browne was the West Columbia Beautification chairwoman for years and she is currently on the Board of The River District.

Considering the country has been dealing with the coronavirus crisis since March, how has Sprouse Browne sold so many houses?

“People are stuck at home,” she said. “When they are at home, people may begin to realize they need more room for an office or their child’s virtual school.”

“We’ve had no downturn because of COVID,” Sprouse Browne said.
In addition to selling real estate, Sprouse Browne and her husband Chip own the Real Estate School of SC. It’s off of Sunset Boulevard in West Columbia, near the I-26 exit at Lexington Medical Center. Click here for a link

They are always recruiting new talent to the school.

“It’s an excellent time to be in real estate,” Sprouse Browne said.
She also said West Columbia is a great place to buy a home.

“We’re having a renaissance of sorts,” she said. Sprouse Browne noted that more than 30 new homes are being built at St. Ann’s Alley just off of State Street.

She said it’s a community that is close to restaurants, businesses and the Congaree River.

And not only is The River District a great place to buy, the market all over West Columbia is hot. “It’s a great place for a family to buy a home,” said Sprouse Browne.
