Gray Collegiate defeated Andrew Jackson 57-39 in the Class 2A Upper State title game Saturday. Next, the War Eagles will play for the Class 2A basketball state championship.

Tauris Watson was Gray’s top scorer Saturday with 16 points. Latavian Lawrence had 10 points.

The win for Gray Saturday came at Bon Secours Wellness Arena, in Greenville.

The War Eagles will play Whale Branch in the state title game Friday at Colonial Life Arena. Gray has won the last two 2A championships championships.
