The City of West Columbia has scheduled its fifth annual Art on State event for May 6, the first Friday of the month. It’s in the 100 block of State St. from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. and free. Art on State attracts thousands of visitors.

Two bands, Whiskey Run and Seventy Six and Sunny, will be playing and there will be food and drinks available.
The popular event features local artists creating live paintings on the street with temporary paint.
