Lexington County Coroner, Margaret Fisher, has identified the individual who died in a vehicle versus tractor-trailer accident in the 1800 block of Old Dunbar Road in West Columbia shortly before 7 a.m. on Sunday.

According to Fisher, Mrs. Debra Lee Kittrell, 67, of West Columbia was the passenger in a sedan traveling eastbound on Old Dunbar Road when the vehicle collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer. Mrs. Kittrell was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.
